Katie Russell is an Austin, Texas-based writer with a Ph.D. in Language and Literacy from the University of Texas at Austin (UT). Katie’s debut book, A Season With Mom: Love, Loss, and the ultimate Baseball Adventure, tells the story of her journey to visit all 30 Major league baseball parks in a single season to fulfill her late mother’s dream. Her journey came to an end at the Chicago Cubs’ famous Wrigley Field(her and her mother’s favorite team), and what happened next was truly a dream come true.
